The second layer is highly absorbent and moisture-locking, capable of holding up to three regular tampons’ worth of flow, keeping you secure and confident. The final outer layer is aquaphobic, water-repellent by design, helping prevent pool or ocean water from entering the gusset while also guarding against leaks. The result is swimwear that stays lightweight, sleek, and effective while you move.

It is completely safe to swim during your period, and interestingly, while submerged, natural water pressure helps balance internal and external pressure, meaning menstrual flow does not freely release underwater. Flow typically resumes once you exit the water and that pressure balance shifts. That’s why thoughtfully designed protection matters most in those transition moments.

Yes, they’re designed for all-day comfort depending on your flow.

Before washing, rinse the menstrual blood with water from the faucet against the crotch until the water becomes transparent. You can put it in the washing machine to wash at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees. You can use softener or special underwear detergent, and you can dry it. We have done drying tests and there will be no loss of clothing functionality.

After use, rinse your period underwear or swimwear in cold water, running water directly through the gusset until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess menstrual blood before washing.

Machine wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C. You may use a mild detergent, fabric softener, or a specialized underwear detergent if desired.

Air drying is recommended to help extend the life of the garment. However, we have conducted drying tests to ensure durability, and tumble drying will not compromise the garment’s protective functionality.
